It's Meet-up time! As usual it will include dinner, tips and tricks, show and tell, and time to work on our individual projects. This month's tips and tricks segment will be by Sarah Reynolds. Sarah asks, "Do you like circles? Interested in tackling the Dresden plate or something similar? With Coffee Filter Paper Piecing you can make fabric 'pizzas.' Learn how to transform a Coffee Filter into a quilting tool to make perfect seams all around a circle."
Please bring a potluck dish to share and to keep things "green," a plate, utensils, and a cup. The United Methodist church is right at the corner of Marin Street and Stannage Avenue in Albany. Entrance to the MeetUp is on Stannage Avenue through the wooden gate. If you are a member of East Bay Heritage Quilters there is no fee to attend. The fee for non-members is $5.
We're planning for 2014 now. If there is something you want to learn or a topic you want to see covered in a tips and tricks demonstration, please let me know.
