What kind of project are you working on?

I have one completed YA fantasy novel of a planned series of four. Currently revising the completed second installment. It's an urban fantasy involving the Greek pantheon, ancient Mayan mythology, some shape-shifters, and, of course, vampires. Oh, and plenty of adolecent romance too.

What are you reading right now?

Gail Carriger: Ettiquette and Espionage

Who's your favorite SFF author?

In my reading I've been mostly focused on fantasy and top billing goes to my personal heroin Gail Carriger, followed closely by Janine Ashbless, Diana Gabaldon, Neil Gaiman, Molly Harper, JR Ward, Suzanne Collins, Tolkien (of course). In sci-fi I love and plan to read more Phillip K Dick and Ursala Leguin. Just finished Wool by Hugh Howey and loved it.

One time English major, majored in science to be practical, ended up a visual artist. Put aside ceramics business 3 years ago to focus on writing. Mother of two young ones... freetime for writing is a currency hard won and precious.
