What kind of project are you working on?

I've written 4 books in my "Magical" series, with 2 published ("Magical Matthew," also in Spanish and "Magical Mea") and 2 to come ("Magical Mea Goes to School" and "Magical M and M.") I have a Halloween PB, "Ten Little Tricksters" in contract. I have two more PB's working ("Grandma's Warm Pink House" and "Oh No, I'm Going to My Friend's House for Dinner "), also a MG ("The Perfect Home" and YA ("The Young Amazons") in draft. I write a blog where I review children's books, showcase authors and artists, and write about parenting teens.

What are you reading right now?

I read a lot of children's books, new and old, and review or showcase them on my blog. I'm reading "Familiar Origins," first book in the Draca Ward series, to review for a fellow author.

Who's your favorite SFF author?

Can't choose one favorite. I have always liked the classics, Asimov, C.S. Lewis, Tolkien, Frank Herbert, N.D. Wilson, Michael Scott -- and read J.K. Rowling's HP series twice.

I am a teacher, tutor, and children's book author. I write PB, MG and YA. Reading is magical for us. It transports us to other worlds, other lands, and other situations. I hope my children's books will uplift, surprise, delight, and inspire.
