Join us for a community gathering to feed and acknowledge the unseen beings that we share the planet with.
We offer despachos as an act of ayni or sacred reciprocity. It is a way to acknowledge the spirit world and give thanks for all that has been given to us – and pay gratitude for all that is yet to come.
"This contemporary rendition of ancient Andean ceremony uses ritual offerings to give thanks for the gifts that we have received from the Spirit Realm. It is a way of giving back to the Source from which all comes. When prepared and offered with love and sincerity, haywarikuy restores balance & harmony to our lives." (quote by Judy Hoaglund, Shamanic Practitioner and Pachakuti Mesa Tradition Teacher)
This ceremony is a beautiful way to create community & share prayers for personal and planetary transformation.
The organizer, Jnana Gowan, will bring the ritual foods needed, feel free to make a small offering on paper - poem, painting, words, drawing, etc...to include in the despacho. (no larger than 6" squared)
All are welcome - children are free. We are asking a $10 fee to cover space and administrative fees. No one turned away for lack of funds.
