Hey everyone! The season begins! So excited to start the year...as many of you know this tends to be the rainy season, so if you have easy ups/tarps etc...its a good idea to bring, and if you have an extra one that you can bring over to the main site so that we have a larger area to hang out under if we get rain, even better!
Yes, children are allowed, please do note the following:
1) Children must be above the age of 8 for this meet-up
2) ALL children 8-15 years old, MUST be off the main site by 10 p.m. each night. This policy allows our adults an opportunity to be a little more relaxed after hours.
YOU MUST READ this entirely to sign up!
It costs a $10 non refundable fee that secures your attendence. You are on your own for the meals and beverages for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. As Usual we will of course be serving Mike's Now Famous Chili on Saturday Night and YES it does Have Meat, it is NOT vegetarian or vegan! You are responsible for accuring your own campsite. If you want to share....arrange that between members.
# 8 Dennis' site is the base camp--can't wait to see/meet you all! Please do NOT arrive at base camp before 3:30 pm on Friday.
You are responsible for booking your own site at http://www.reserveamerica.com/camping/Clarence_Fahnestock_State_Park/r/campgroundDetails.do?page=details&contractCode=NY&parkId=409&topTabIndex=CampingSpot.
Reserve America charges will be about $19.00 per nite per site.
I will notify you of any changes.
You must bring all food/water etc that you will need. I hope you decide to join this is going to be a really relaxing great week-end!
Please NOTE: Only ONE Pet will be approved for this event, ie One dog, or One bird, cat etc...whoever signs up first, pays the entrance fee and sends me an e-mail will be the one approved to bring their pet. As hard as it is, please try to understand that many animals do not play well with others and/or excite/frighten/upset others...it becomes difficult to maintain a relaxed atmosphere with multiple animals. Note this is a tent camping event for people, it is really not conducive to multiple animals. I understand many wish to have their four legged friends along however for the safety and relaxation of all members it is just not possible.
