Run/Gym

  • May 18, 2013 · 10:00 AM

Group, I am training to run the upcoming Ragnar Marathon so I mentioned to a few group members the idea of meeting up a few times per week to workout. I am more of a gym rat but since we signed up to run Ragnar, I am doing more running. Another member is also very much into fitness so I think she could be a HUGE help. Another goal here is for us to build some good friendships.

So for those interested, I think we have the best of both worlds here:
-opportunity to get to know cool people
-get in shape or in even better shape
-have friends to workout with

e have not discussed a start date but I'm going to go ahead and suggest one. This date can be changed of course.

I have a county gym membership and live in Holladay, so Lions is a lovely and close-by facility for me. It has a run/walk track indoors, outdoor softball field and gym, indoor large basketball court and multipurpose room as well as weight/cardio room. (1661 east murray-holladay rd.) Drop in fee is $6. Keep us updated when a location is found :3

I joined Planet fitness and wouldn't mind the company while I cry. They're still doing a special for $10 a month, no commitment I think.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
