Birds in the Lab! (& Lunch?)

Join the HawkWatch crew and some of their fine feathered friends for the opportunity to observe live raptors up-close and examine  a variety of specimens-feathers, eggs, and claws!  Meet the HawkWatch experts, discover how to identify common birds in your communities, and learn about local bird conservation efforts in Utah.

This is your opportunity to learn more about birds of prey and what HawkWatch International is doing to protect them and our shared environment.

Included in Museum Admission ($11 for adults/free to members)

We'll meet by the main entrance at 11:45, get our tickets together and head to the Naturalist Lab...

For those that are interested, we can grab lunch afterwards.

Hi Everyone! Looking forward to this event! It starts promptly at noon - please be there at 11:45 (meetup start time) to pay for your museum entry. There are quite a few of us and I'm not sure what the capacity is in "the Lab." We'll meet just inside the main entrance to the museum. The program lasts until 2 and for those that are interested, we can grab a late lunch somewhere afterwards. See you all tomorrow!

I would love to, but I don't get back from New Hampshire until 11:15 pm that night. Sorry :-(

My daughter Jen (age 30) and I are REALLY motivated to get out and meet people from home. Some time that there's a get together for a casual bite of dinner, we're in. We don't ski, but we do bowl (not fantastic but fine) so if anyone's planning...hit us up!

This looks very interesting -- unfortunately it conflicts with my son's drumming. Enjoy!

I know Hawkwatch does this once a month at the museum, so if there is ever another meetup like this for a different month (since I'll also be back home for Christmas) I would love to go!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
