8th Annual 'Honor Our Veterans Parade'

The parade will commence on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. on the corner of View Park Way and East Palomar Street in Chula Vista.

The parade route will run from Magdalena Avenue to Santa Venetia Street, and conclude at Veterans Elementary School. There will be a ceremony recognizing veterans and military families following the parade from 10-11 a.m.

Faculty, students and residents of Veterans would like to invite you to participate in the 8th Annual “Honor Our Veterans Parade”, scheduled for Friday, Nov 8th 2013.

The parade begins at 0900 a.m. in the city of Chula Vista in the Otay Ranch Area 91913. The parade committee invites veterans of all branches of service to walk or ride in the parade. We would especially like all war veterans to ride in cars or other vehicles that we will provide.

The event honors our veterans “All American heroes including firefighters, police, first responders, military, military families, Gold Star families and fallen heroes.

The event is scheduled on the weekend before Veterans day, so those who perished that day or worked as volunteers in the days following are always honored and remembered.

Veterans Elementary School in conjunction with Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Navy San Diego and Navy Cyber Forces Detachment San Diego will be honoring our nation’s Veterans at the 8th Annual Veterans Day Parade. The parade will commence on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. on the corner of View Park Way and East Palomar Street in Chula Vista.

The parade route will run from Magdalena Avenue to Santa Venetia Street, and conclude at Veterans Elementary School. There will be a ceremony recognizing veterans and military families following the parade from 10-11 a.m.
