This thread is for all those coming to or are interested in the Serenity game that'll be playing opposite Glenn's The Vale War.

If I've got it right the people who're already coming tomorrow are: Glenn (Glenn), Graham (graham okeeffe), Mark (Mark) and Sam (Brevitt) in alphabetical order.

Questions, comments, cries of anguish?

This week, yes. He closes Mondo Comico early on the first Thursday of every month so while we are at the Bugmans Bar this Thursday we will be at Mondo Comico next time (this may or may not be a regular issue, but as problems go it's not a big one).

Good if under-prep'd for session as we all managed to arrive an hour early, have finished characters done quickly, and even managed to swiftly move through the first episode, Haulin' Ice, pretty damn quickly.

Rewards: For just showing up everyone (Sam, Kim, and Glenn) get 4 Plot Points for completing the Crew Goal "Get the ice.", Sam nets himself a point for clever thinking jamming the doors, Glenn gets a point for a number of clever ideas, and Kim gets herself a point for her literal crazy flying skills.

Continuity: With regards to the character you all will be calling Captain: he is sick with a fever and has been since a day after the crew took the job moving ice. He has been confined to his quarters and kept under fairly close watch by the ships doctor (one of the current trio of NPCs), and for those health worried amongst the crew he has been giving out booster injections to prevent anyone else catching it while in space.

Since you might be wondering who the rest of the crew includes I'll include them here too.

NPCs; The remainder of the crew such as they are.

The Captain: For now the captain remains an NPC sick with some fever he probably caught on the last planet. Exact details are up to his eventual player, but since he's out of the picture for the foreseeable future (the character not the player) there is no rush.

The Doctor: A man with overly rotund and ruddy features, Malvery is the ships doctor such as somebody could be. As you could note from his appearance he has a fondness of food and drink but neither seems to stop him from acting a good doctor, and acting a good doctor doesn't seem to stop him fitting in with the crew or the gaggle of Rim-life you encounter.

The Security: A short, stout, and swarthy boy, your security against a harsh 'verse is Pinn. Barely out of his twenties the boy has a natural aptitude and attitude toward violence of many descriptions. An open child he's set off about the 'verse to "make his fortune", which seems to be a near impossibility with him spending his pay as soon as he gets it (and sometimes before).

Next game will be the 19th, hopefully at Mondo Comico, and we'll be starting Phoenix S1E02 (Season 1 Episode 2) - Boomtown. In the intervening time between now and when people decide they don't like it I'll be calling the campaign by the name of your poor ol' ship.

I've got another player interested in playing in this game. I've taken the liberty of inviting him to this weeks session and said he could either watch or run an NPC if William was up for that.

Would have asked permission before inviting him but, don't have William's mobile number.
