Maybe for the meet up I'm not sure. Probably dnd because people can create a character and bring it with them.

There is a wizard who is accused of scrying into peoples homes and sitting in judgement on the morals of their children. You may want to clear his name or you may want to raid his tower while he is under arrest. I don't know I havent written it yet

If your interested which would you prefer?smile

One off probably to be run at december meet up level not set yet as it isn't written so open to discussion.
Most likely dnd 4 e as I know the rules and most people can pregen therir own characters.
Also probably raiding the filthy perverted wizards tower while he is being questioned about why he needs to know if the children are naughty or nice; to get all his cool stuff like the candy cane of tooth rot and other such desirable items.
Light hearted Christmasy fun to be had hopefully. HOPE THAT HELPS.

Ooooooooh i just got what the whole reference was about! I'm super dumb!

If i can come to the Dec meetup then i'd like to play this. It would also be cool if it could be higher level play, maybe Epic tier as i've yet to get up that far.

I like the idea that this guy is actually brainwashing the whole town starting with the children as they are easier to manipulate. Christmasy undertones galore i think, perhaps the wizard could have 9 skeletal horses, one with a firey nose?

I hadn't planned on snow golems to be honest but you never know!
That reminds me I will need whoever plays to bring whatever mini's and tiles they have with them. As I don't own any.
Has anyone played or run any Paragon tier? If I do it at that kind of level I would like to know how long encounters take.

Wasn't the gameday module that you ran a paragon tier adventure? I think the encounters would be quite loing. Not because Paragon tier encounters necessarily mean longer encounters (I haven't played that regularly eough to comment), but with people that haven't played their character before having so many options to choose from I think it would be longer than normal. An actual time estimate? I'm not really sure. If the game day module was indeed a paragon tier one then that would be a good benchmark. Although if the people playing were comfortable with 4E AND had access to their characetrs beforehand so they could look through them then it might run quicker.

I really haven't helped much there have I? smile

Your right that was Paragon tier. So I dont think it would be easy to write something punchy enough for players at that level That would finish in time for an evening game. I might aim it at around level 5 then. wouldn't want a REPEATbiggrin
