The Unification War is over

Regardless as to your personal thinkin' on that, the 'Verse has changed for everyone. Demobbed soldiers and 'fugees are everywhere, looking for food and a roof over their heads. A Job will help you get those things... and sometimes a gun will help you do that job, Dohn ma?

This here dirt ball has got more than it's fair share of new folk lookin' to get a headstart on restartin' their lives and some are not to particular as to how. It used to be a nice place, mainly farmers and ranchers, but the end of the war changed all that. The local Feds are undermanned and the new Governor doesn't have the Shiang Jing to stand up to the swelling numbers of thieves, smugglers, slavers, and other nefarious types that are setting up shop here.

The law of the gun is absolute here on Ezra. If you can't defend yourself and what's yours, someone will take it from you. Despite the risks, at least there is work to be found here on Ezra now..... though it may not be to the liking of all folk....
