They negotiated their way towards gaining some necromantic tomes they can bribe the Mosque of Zann in Dihliz with to persuade the Golden Mosque in Huzuz to allow some scarabs of protection to be blessed. To do this they need to complete a 'test' for a necromancer and researched what spells etc they could use to combat and defeat a ghost (or ghosts) + deal with the other undead they are likely to find in the court of Nycopolis. Of course they could do with the scarabs now, but...... ”
