Full: Rise of the Runelords [Pathfinder RPG ("D&D 3.75")]

Rise of the Runelords

Sort of fortnightly in a "less than weekly" kind of way.

6:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Books:

Pathfinder RPG Core rulebook + Paizo supplements

7 ±2 players (full)

Campaign: Currently Lvl 2.
Frontier town / Wilderness / Dungeon.

Fifth and forthcoming session: Playing with an annoying, but no that dangerous Quasit or carrying on with the job? What a dilemma!

Background:
The town Sandpoint is a relatively young coastal town in Varisia, it concerns itself mainly with farming and a bit of lumber. It is fairly developed with many businesses, inns, taverns and even local artists of renown. Sandpoint has just had a partially cancelled festival for the consecration of the new cathedral, the event having been disturbed by a strange Goblin raid. Goblins as it turns out were merely tools for greater evils: An Aasimar wanting to turn into Demon, something called Malfeshnekor, some tunnels under Sandpoint hosting strange fleshy zombie like, but non-undead, Sinspawns... The party has a lot on its plate.

Setting:
The world of Golarion ("Pathfinder Chronicles") from Paizo publishing.

You may pick-up the PDF of the player's guide for free. You now need to open an account (free) with Paizo, add it to your basket. It will then appear in "Your Download" section.
This resource provides information about Sandpoint and feats for the campaign.

Additional info:
Now that the campaign has actually started, look at our official thread on the board:
"Rise of the Runelords, Pathfinder RPG, "Vague Connections", Nottingham"

New players:
Due to the vaguaries of life we now have nine players on a semi-regular basis, hence the “FULL” tag. Please do not RSVP "yes" unless you are already in the game. If you are really desperate for a game, efforts would be made to accommodate your request.

Who attended?

  • 5 attendees
    •  Good to met some new blood. An amusing session with a large dollop of "1's" rolled with pretty amusing consequences. We need to recognise that we were very lucky to be alive when the shrieking zombies flying things should have knocked us all out and should have administered their "kiss".....
    •  A fainting Cleric, a tiny Demon in a bag, a couple of shrieking Vargouilles, and some warm tea and coffee - served with sugar cubes - could one possibly ask for more?
