I am proposing to run non-campaign adventures on Saturday afternoons for those of you who want to discover Pathfinder RPG, which is also dubbed "D&D 3.75".
The aim would be to play at various levels, thus allow for middle (LV 9th to 14th) to high level/high power (LV 15th to 18th) games. From experience it is better for a group to be formed at low level, so that people learn about one another's style of play and personality. Hence this month, a short 1st level adventure is open for consideration: "Black Waters".

"Black Waters" is a "Pathfinder Society" scenario written by Tim and Eileen Connors.

Frequency: Possibly monthly

Time: 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Books:
Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook
If you have played D&D 3.5 or merely D20, you know most of Pathfinder RPG, you merely have not realised it yet.

Players: 4 to 6 players.

Party level LV1.

Adventure: "Black Waters"
City based Dungeon

Setting:
The world of Golarion ("Pathfinder Chronicles") from Paizo Publishing.

Background:
Beldrin’s Bluff was once an affluent cliff side neighbourhood of Absalom, overlooking the Inner Sea’s glittering surface. The great quake came 10 years ago and half of Beldrin’s Bluff tore from the land and fell into the sea. Perhaps the most terrifying loss was the drowning of the Tri-Towers Yard, an elite academy for the youth of the noblest families of Beldrin’s Bluff. No one survived. Now the Tri- Towers Yard is known as the Drownyard, a desolate ruin filled with strange black ichors and salty brine. Within lie the secrets of an ancient necropolis, but there too dwell the spirits of its inhabitants and the angry dead of the Tri-Towers students and teachers.

Plot
You are sent to the Drownyard to find a lost treasure, the ruby ring of the salamander. Expect Undeads, watery graves and deep underground dungeons; maybe also a whiff of the Old Ones.

Additional info:
I would like to run this adventure as a rehearsal for "ConQuest 2010" and would like to work on my timing. This pretty short adventure is a typical "Pathfinder Society" scenario, although it will be run simply as a standard adventure.

Pre-gens characters are provided and I would encourage you to play them as this is in effect a rehearsal for a convention.

Date and time:
I am posting this as an event to attract players so the date and time can be changed to accommodate people.

Despite what you say, it was still a nice little romp trying out a character class I do not usually play. Fun, and also learning a bit more about the differences between 3.5 and Pathfinder.

11.30 a.m. is the official time for gathering the troops, the game itself should start around quarter to noon.

It is simple - bullsh**. It was a typo....hehehe....

but there is no way of editing RSVP. I will be there come what may. I am happy to be the filthy rogue - it's in my nature.

"Matbe" = "Maybe"? Pretty unlikely if you ask me.
Old English words tend not to be compounded words, like May+be. These words, nonetheless is another example, obviously wormed their way into the language as accepted misspellings.
Other exhibit: T and Y are side by side on a QWERTY keyboard. :)

"Matbe" is obviously an Olde Englysh word for Maybe but only if you change the time..... not a typo.....honest.....

    •  I prefer well developed adventures with properly exposed story-lines, so I must admit my GMing could have been better.
