I am currently playing in a group in nottingham(10th lvl mage) but am looking to spred my wings a bit and get into other groups. See you all in August-Ill be the fat, bald yet still ruggedly handsome one.

Welcome Ashley and Jason.

You both should post and make yourselves known to the rest as personalities in your own right, or you will end up being "Len's daughter", and "Len's daughter's other half", and then you are not people, just aspects of another, and I know you are much more than that.

Introduce yourselves.

Okie dokie Len, a little about me. I'm probably one of the younger members, just 21, fresh out of uni, still wet behind the ears. Currently I’m looking for some form of employment although I can't quite decide what to do, my latest plan involves living in a tent selling strawberry plants. I somehow think that NTL wouldn't run a broadband line out to a field for me though, so that rules that plan out.

As for DnD, I was introduced to it though Ashley, who is Lens daughter - but that’s the last time I’ll mention that. The main thing that i enjoyed about it was the ability to do whatever you want, your not restricted in the same way you are in a computer game. It doesn't feel like I’ve been playing very long, although I’ve had a try with a paladin, ranger, wizard and plain old fighter. Can't say i was impressed with magic that much, and I’m currently swayed towards archers and dexterous two weapon fighters.

Hello to everyone else, i look forward to hearing from you all soon.

Jason

Okay dad, but if you think I'm gonna start referring to you as Len you are oh so wrong. If you can take some of the credit for my degree then I can come on here as your daughter and get some of the credit for your intellect. (oh yeah you aren't DM here, no point sucking up, no XP on offer!)

For the rest of you, I am 22, just completed my degree in Psychology, so be scared! I am hoping to go on to teach in A level and GCSE classes, for Sociology and Psychology, and I'm currently looking for teaching assistant posts in Leicestershire, Notts and or Derby to get some experience on my CV before applications open in September.

As for Dnd, thats all dads fault...he introduced me, he gave me Mordekainens Instant Volley and I was hooked. I love to play, I am currently experimenting with classes and races, to try to find my niche. So far, Female Dwarven Theif Assassin (Neutral...not Evil) who is among a group of do goody adventurers, which means she gets to indulge in her favourite pastimes of collecting anything pink, blank and or shiny or can do damage from afar, and the equally amusing tormenting of the paladin! Which she will actually miss when he wanders off to fight the good fight for Heironious because the group isnt pure enough for him! Especially now Amber is to become the assassin/thief of Vecna!

Any comments, silly things, or whoopsies that I make are all my dads fault...they came from his genes...Any moments of brilliance are all me!

Welcome Peter, the more the merrier. (That word just looks wrong, but the spell check here would only try to make it into some US thing.)

Take a look around and meet the folks. You claim to be rust, but your armour will polish up in time. Sand and pig-fat helps.tongue

...and Nick too.

Hey this is getting to be a regular thing. Nick jumped right in and joined Rob's game. Nice going Nick.

BTW. I'm sick of seeing my face on this thread. Someone reply occasionally. tonguedevilish
