Sort Of Pre-gens supplied, but open to suggestions It is 3 years since Smaug the Golden was slain, wrecking havoc upon the town of Dale. For the time after the place has repaired and fluorished, and for the first time in many generations, elf, dwarf and man trade and work together..... A dwarf from the house of Funwar, is recruiting a 'fellowship' for a perilous journey to the south, to retrieve a family relic, lost over 3000 years ago..... The Sword and the Stone. Post #: 487	of course from the iron hills (ie a relative of Dain) or a son/nephew of one of the dwarves accompanying bilbo? i will 'mostly' roll characters, in that players can distribute their skills points as they see fit!

Post #: 490	Dale is miles from Bree!!! so his knowledge wont be very local!! hmm.. How about he accompanied a trade caravan from Bree, so has travelled through Rohan and around top of Mirkwood via woodman-town. and it was such a long journey he has stayed for a while!! so scout, swordsman rather than archer, survival and such

user 8306656 Stapleford, GB Post #: 371	I'm aware of the distance from Bree but the Rangers travel far and wide gathering information much of which is taken or sent back to Rivendell. So reasons for being there could be anything yes he could have come with a trade caravan or he could have been sent by the elves in Rivendell I will leave it up to you to fit into your vision.
