Hellocool
The proposal here is for a fortnightly game on Fridays quite likely to be at my house but that isn't set in stone by any means.
I have quietly being preparing some pages in prep for this game.
The first is here the others follow on and are linked.
I am looking for a fairly tight group of 4 I think and the campaign has a lot of legs in it if required. It should be fairly rp heavy too. The setting is modern day and there wont be any supernatural stuff.
There is a lot of info in the pages linked and character creation will be following these strict rules set out and could mostly be done of the pages.
Take a look and ask any questions we can go from there.

I am based in Stapleford Johnny so it's not far down the 52 your side of Notts. Like I say though I'm flexible on the venue would just prefer someones house as pubs can get expensive and I'm a student now.wink

Brevitt, i have tweeted the thread incase that generates any intrest.

I didn't realise you were based in Stabbo, as am i, so might make this doable for me as i should just be able to walk there!? (Provided thats were you settle for the venue)

However, i'm not sure if i would fit with the style of the game as it sounds above. I do like rolling my dice. Could you give some more info about the system? Forgive me if this is in the pages you wrote i haven't had chance to check them, and will do if it will answer my questsion.

Are you looking at an evening game? how long sessions? I appreciate you are probably not sure about these but a ballpark figure would be cool.

The system I prefer to use is GURPS this is skill based so when your in action there is a fair amount of rolling although I aim to try and use some stakes based rp too. I will however be expecting the players to discuss and make co-herent plans before plunging into action and I will probably expect them to rp their cover story a fair bit.

Playing a team that may well be holed up in a safe house for 2 weeks while the heat passes and recovery is made. Wont be entirely washed over so some rp between characters is to be had. The stories we tell will depend on it even, to some extent. I have taken my story lines from real world happenings in the news or some of them anyway.

Reading at least the first page will give you some of the feel I am aiming for I hope. Most of the rest I character creation. So reading futher will probably give you a good feel for what you want to play.

Sessions will be evening and I usually aim for 3-4 hours of course it will depend on travel and such like for most, as it has been pointed out lots of Notts RP'ers don't drive.

Will have to wait and see when my shift pattern changes and also when the D.O.G.'s want to kick off a mid-week game, before I can realisticly commit.

Sorry I can't be more precise.sad

Right I have 2 people with firm interest. If my g/fs interest is firm ooer. One person has already given me a background for his character so we need 2 maybe 3 to fill my front room.
