The setting is 1 year after the demise of the Evil Empire, Darth Vader the Sith Dark Lord is no more, the Emperor is dead, the Jedi all but extinct, Coruscant in disarray, the Empire has fallen into radical groups in sectors of the Galaxy. Can anyone re-lead the Evil Empire?
Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Leia Organa and the Rebellion now seek to establish a new Republic to restore order and peace to the Galaxy. Luke Skywalker seeks to set-up a Jedi Training Academy and restore the Jedi and their code, this is a time of much adventuring, many races seek to establish their colonies and conduct business, the galaxy is looking forward to the new Order. Their are rumours of a new threat from an unknown species far, far away, Now is the time for your group to create adventures and explore the galaxy........ You are a group adventurers that have come together to make your fortune, you met together on Tattooine and were hired to deliver technical parts by Fot Bobbis to a merchant Zak Gravis on the far side of Tattooine. After several days of travel you delivered the technical parts to the designated area outside Dexar Colony on Tattooine, to your surprise there was no one to meet you, have you been set-up? You made your way back to Mos Eisley, and through negotiations managed to sell these sealed boxes of technical parts for 5,000 credits, you are now looking for your next job, but you have heard that the Huttese are rebuilding their power here after the death of Jabba the Hut, they have noticed your dealings and not happy to not be involved. They have put a bounty on your head of 500 credits per head, what will you do now? Where will you go? Where was Zak Gravis? Is something sinister happening on Tattooine? In that case which Star Wars rules are you using? Given the synopsis I think we all should sit down together and work on characters so we have a nice cohesive group. With that in mind and following my preferred trend in Star Wars games I'd like to play a protocol droid and be owned by one of the other players. |

We will be using the Star Wars Saga Rules.
Yes was going to suggest that the group sit down and workout a balance on characters to benefit the group, sorry but not going to let droids be playable by players. At the moment all races can be played that are within the Saga Rules corebook, except Ewoks as dont think they fit in well as adventurers. I will be adding some more races, and classes as i get myself sorted over the next week or so. |

Sorry yes this is just for our Hidden Hand group on Tuesdays in Nottingham, i may run another Star Wars game at another time, once sorted with this game if people interested. That sounds good Glenn. I will post the species/races i will allow in next couple of days. |

Allowable Species:-
Human, Bothan, Cerean, Duros, Gamorrean, Gungan, Ithorian, Kel Dor, Magma, Mon Calamari, Quarren, Rodian, Sullustan, Trandoshan, Twi'lek, Wookie, Zabrak, Kowakians, Lannik, Selkath, Shistavenen Wolfman, Trianii, Ugnaughts Veeaz and Verpine. Characters will be starting at 1st Level, all basic classes are available will be posting some extra classes shortly. Rolling for Stats will be 4D6 discard lowest die, then discard lowest score and replace with an 18. ie: 12, 11, 10, 16, 14, 8 drop the 8 and replace with an 18, then apply these to your stats. Would suggest the group needs at least one character trained as a pilot, preferably two characters. Edited by Mike on Mar 15, 2010 10:42 AM |

Can we be ex-empire? If so I wouldn't mind filling the pilot slot as an ex-tie pilot or something.

OK, well, I thought I had the saga rulebook, but it looks like I've just got the old D6 version, so I've got no idea about anything really. Any chance of getting more details about what the different races actually mean, and what classes are available (I assume it uses classes still)?
