HISTORY:
Growing up on the pirate coast of Waterdeep, Zyanne was always fascinated with the slight of hand and trickery of the thieves who came to town. She would watch from the balcony above her merchant father's shop, when she was supposed to be studying her lessons, and practise her own sleight of hand in the shops of rival merchants.
When she was 15 she discovered that her father was trying to arrange a marriage for her to the son of a wealthy local businesseman and so pulled a moonlight flit and stowed away dressed as a cabin-boy aboard a rumoured pirate ship. When she was discovered her juvenile trickery amused the Captain and so she was allowed to stay.
She sailed with them for 3 years until it was discovered that she was in fact a girl, when the Captain was informed he laughed so hard that rum came out of his nose. Since it was bad luck to have a woman aboard, he dressed her up in looted finery and dropped her off at the nearest port to continue her "female's trickery" elsewhere.

Quick witted, but softly spoken Zyanne is a master of trickery. She is almost always looking for the upperhand in a situation, deceptivly innocent looking is how she plays her game.
She is stubbon as a mule and as volatile to boot. Beware, the softer she looks the fireier she is inside.
Do not be fooled by Zyanne's soft brown eyes and innocent smile she has the silver tongue and the slight of hand of the devil himself. Her favourite game is con the spoiled dandy, so she will often be dressed in the finest silks she can lay her hands on, but she is not above passing herself off as a young naive if the con requires it. She has also been known to drink the unweary under the table in order to steal something of value they may be carrying.

Allies
Captain Roberts – The Captain of the Pirate ship ‘Revenge’, the ship that Zyanne stowed away on when she was 15, when she can get hold of him Captain Roberts thinks of her somewhat as a protégée and so will do her most favours she asks. He will often alert her to incoming marks she could con, and will sometimes send her some ladies finery he has looted.

Jonah – Son of the owner of the local tavern in the port where she was dropped, not all that bright but has an enormous crush on Zyanne and she will often play this to get information about a mark’s drinking/gambling habits when she in the area and short of cash.

Robin – Zyanne’s little brother, she wrote to him after she ran away to sea to ask him to tell her father that she was safe and had gone off to seek her fortune. She swore him to secrecy about what she was actually up to and so he will help her any way he can while still keeping it a secret from their aging father, she will occasionally send money to Robin to help keep the family business afloat in hard times.
