Uke Club's December Jam in Zephyrhills

Saturday, December 7th @ The Commons on Pretty Pond (Time: 1 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.) at a beautiful retirement community in Zephyrhills, Florida. We will be having our meeting in the Bistro area. Please enter through the front door.

There will be plenty of chairs. Bring your uke, music stand (if you have one), and a singing voice. We normally jam in unison so nobody feels self-conscious...This is for fun! We are not pros!

Also, please download music tabs (under "Files") for the specific date's jam and bring your "Jumpin' Jim's The Daily Ukulele Book" and the new "Leap Year Version" if you have it. The book can be purchased at any Sam Ash Music Store, Barnes & Noble, or online at Amazon.com.

To defray the cost of the website, a $1 donation is suggested.

When Big Mike and Mark are in attendance, there is added energy, not to mention something that has eluded me despite thousands of dollars in music and dance lessons -- rhythm!

I feel like it makes us a "band" and keeps our timing proper when we have percussion!

    Sorry I can't make this one - getting a implants implanted. :(

Thank you Chyrisse for passing on the information from Loretta. Thanks to you both, I am now the proud owner of a brand new fifty-year-old Soprano ukulele!

Sorry you & Cedric can't make it :( I'm sure you won't feel like singing after implants. BUT...GREAT NEWS about the vintage ukulele!!! Holy cow! I'm so happy you are the proud owner! FYI...In January there is a workshop the first Saturday (4th) so we'll be meeting the second weekend in January....
