Cherrywood Lantern Walk celebrating Persion New Year and first day of spring

My awesome neighbor Misha is organizing a lantern walk through Cherrywood to celebrate the Persian and Bahai New Year as well as the first day of spring. Join us at Cherrywood Green (34th and Cherrywood) at 7 for a parade starting at sunset (estimated at 7:30) to walk east on 34th, south on Hemlock, and east on Walnut, winding up at in.gredients for an afterparty. The organizer will have lanterns and glow bracelets to share, but bring your own if you have anything that lights up!

It's a bit late for those with early bedtimes, but should be lots of fun if you can get the little ones to stay up late.

This was really lovely and I hope it becomes an annual neighborhood tradition. There were a mix of preschoolers and bigger kids. I think lots of us blew way past regular bedtimes but everyone had a blast!
