Seven Island Wildlife Refuge

Seven Islands has nice wide trails with a little bit of everything ...

  • Some grass with uneven terrain and some old paved road.
  • Some hills and some level.
  • Some sun and some shade.

Depending on how much rain we get during the week this can be soggy in places down by the river.  If not too muddy there is a spot or two where the dogs can get in the river, but just in case bring plenty of water for yourself and the dogs.

For more information about the park check out http://www.outdoorknoxville.com/places/parks/east/seven-islands-wildlife-refuge

Directions: From I-40 east take exit 402, Midway Rd and turn right (towards Three Rivers Golf Course). Pass by Curtis Road an Smith School Road. turn left onto Maples Road. Turn right at Kodak Road then left onto Kelly Lane at the white Bethel Church. Follow this to the gated entrance and park on the right.

Toby actually did better this time about staying within range of us. Maybe he'll get better the more we let him off-leash--he's probably just setting is up for his next major field trip.

Do you get an email asking you to rate the meet up? Or are you using the stars above the comments to rate them?

Just out of curiosity, how do you make the "Good to see you" come up by the name?

Do you ever get emails asking how the meet up was? I used to, and once I followed the links in it and rated the meet up I started getting the good to see you emails and buttons on the web site. It was not just clicking stars on the even page, but rating the location and the meet up event as well. It was another form.

Pippi, Pixie and I enjoyed the company (as alawys) and we all took LONG naps this afternoon. I just love seeing the dogs run and play at this location.
