What are you most interested in learning more about? What type of events would you like to see?

I've always been a sponge for new knowledge (that's why I still have baseball stats from the 1910's stuck in my head). Almost any subject would be a welcome addition.

Do you have any ideas for events? Do you have any skills that you think the group would like to learn about that you would be willing to share?

No answer yet

Are you able to keep an open mind, listen (without interrupting), and be positive towards all members of the group (even if they have conflicting views from your own)?

Absolutely, I actually prefer when someone discusses the ridiculous or the counter-factual. Lively conversation is not about who can speak the loudest or the longest, but who spends the most time thinking about what to say.

I grew up in a large family where discussions as diverse as politics, music and the best flavor of gelato would be our entertainment for Sunday dinners. Your group description and the open mind policy spoke to me.
