8-fold path study group

This is your chance to delve deeper into the foundations of Buddhist teaching & to develop a greater understanding of the 8 Fold Path. It would be most helpful if you can read the chapter we are working with for that particular week from the book: Eight Mindful Steps to Happiness, by Ven. Henepola Gunaratana. If you do not yet have the book you can go to the link below, find the step we are currently working with and find a great deal of information online for that step of the path.

The classes will meet once per month on the second Tuesday of each month and are being taught by Shane Wilson. For more information about all of this, please go to:

Kristin, there is no wrong time to join this group. We are going to discuss Step 2, Skillful Thinking at the next meeting. If you already have Bhante Gunarantana's book, Eight Mindful Steps to Happiness, you can study the information there. If you don't have the book yet, it's readily available from Amazon. Either way, please join us.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
