Satsang is a sharing, it is a Sanskrit word that means "gathering together for the truth" or, "being with the truth."
Satsang meetings involve meditation, communicating, and for some it is simply a time for listening and spending time with like minded people.
Some of the topics that typically arise in Satsang include: nondual awareness, the exploration of practices (such as meditation, contemplation, self inquiry, mindfulness), non-self, emptiness, unconditioned awareness, spiritual insights, awakenings, impermanence, liberation and, meanings in life.
We will be starting with a 20 minute Meditation, followed by a talk and discussion.
Satsangs are facilitated by Shane Wilson and are held every Thursday evening - 7:00-830 pm at the Meditation Learning Center in Mesa, AZ.
[Donations made at the meeting place are sincerely appreciated as this is apart of the satsang tradition, although not necessary to take part]
