I am a member of a bunch of fun MeetUp groups, but many are far away.  This one is to try and round up more local people for my favorite interests.

This group is for all of us who live in Concord and beyond and still want to have fun but with a little less driving. The hope is for us to be able to find some local people who like to do whatever it is we like to do or, at the least, meet some cool people in the area.  We've got some great local resources out here, and we're well situated for escapes to the north (such as Napa) and the east (the Sierras).

I personally love playing board games, movies, rock climbing, hiking, geocaching, finding good swimming holes, almost anything outdoors and so on.  But this group can be used for any type of event that isn't already represented in our area.

If there is some event in our area that you would like to post, please let me know and we will get it on the calander.  Although I've lived in other parts of the Bay Area before, I'm new to this part so please throw out ideas on what there is to do here.
