Field Trip - FIRST PERSON SHOOTER - Being Performed March 8, Santa Clara

LETS GO AS A GROUP TO SEE THIS FINE PLAY BEING PERFORMED WITH ALDO BILLINGSLEA, one of the top SF Actors in the Bay Area.  Jeff and I are going Saturday night, March 8 at 8:00.  If more people want to go, we can meet for dinner first.  We can drive 2 people in our car.  Tickets:  5 - 15$   A bargain.  See Below!

Did you read this play with us back in 2012?  This is by local playwright, Aaron Loeb, and we sent our feedback to Aaron after he graciously allowed us to have and read his script.  Here is what our own play readers said about this play:

"this play touched on many important issues our country faces.  Sadly, answers are not so easily found.  I was deeply moved by this play"

"Your play has us talking and talking and talking.  It raises so many great issues. but more than that, its a really good play, with people we care about, and continual twists in the story that are engaging.  Thank You!"

"Mr Loeb, Our group just finished reading your play, and it was the best read and post-discussion to date, of all the many plays we have read.  We all found issues in the play that related directly or indirectly to our own lives, and we cared about all of the characters.  For me personally the corporate machinations and characterizations resonated directly with my corporate experience.  But more important, the play touched me emotionally and the ending, though ambiguous, was hopeful.  Your play has a message that cannot be over-stated in America today.  Thank you for a great play."

A good time was had by all. Great play, even if the acting needed work.

Its just a terrific play, and I enjoyed seeing students give it their best. They were passionate if not polished.

It's about a video-game company that sells a violent war entertainment that inspires a distressed high-schooler to shoot up his school before he himself is killed. The school events are not depicted in the play. The issues faced by the company and parents in the aftermath of the tragedy are. These issues are far reaching and highly provocative.

That's a long way to go for a play (I know because I drive down there for work a lot), but I really loved Aaron's play Ideation, so I'm in. I bought tix.
