Introduction
I'm a theatre guy who hasn't really done much theatre stuff in the past decade and thought a play reading group would be a good thing to add to my activities.
Describe your theater experience or involvement, or why you are joining the group.
Have done a lot of community and educational theatre.
If you have ever read before, please describe the experience, and what you like about public reading.
Haven't done much reading other than a little for fellow students in grad school.
What do you want most to get out of this meetup group?
An opportunity to meet other theatre fans and become involved in something related to theatre.
What other interests do you have socially or professionally that tell us something about you?

It was good to meet you as well Gary. I am glad I was able to listen to your story as well. I have had an even tougher week, but I hope to make to tomorrow's meeting. I hope that we can all heal as quickly as possible because we all need to feel happy again.

Most world cultures have shamanic roots if you go back far enough. This really is a spiritual practice (Not a religion)... that I find compatible with and supportive of most faith traditions.
