Introduction

Hello there! I just finished my teaching credential (high school English), and this is the perfect group for me! I love theater and enjoy incorporating it into my lesson plans. This group sounds edifying, fun and well-organized.

Describe your theater experience or involvement, or why you are joining the group.

I have performed in several plays -- community theater, college and high school plays.

If you have ever read before, please describe the experience, and what you like about public reading.

I attended a reading of "Lysistrata," by Aristophanes in college and really enjoyed it. I think it's a great way to "see" or experience a play and its language without having to block or memorize lines.

What do you want most to get out of this meetup group?

Discussion of plays; a better understanding of characters, etc.

What other interests do you have socially or professionally that tell us something about you?

Like to read, write, travel, do yoga....
