Marin Shakespeare Company

I've been introduced to Marin Shakespeare Company this summer, with The Liar and A Midsummer Night's Dream. The former is fun and funny--a contemporary piece in the Shakespearean style. Worth seeing, but you better hurry--there are only a few shows left.

Last night I saw Dream. I highly recommend it. There are enough tweaks of the language to connect it to modern life (ie, cell phones) plus some non-text asides that are hilarious. But, the real difference between this and other productions is the sheer physicality of the acting and the interactions between characters. It's hard to explain. Go see it and you won't be disappointed.
