Poll for dinner after LitQuake on Saturday, October 2, 2010

Hi, everyone. :-)

As I mentioned just a short while ago, I would like to schedule a meetup for Saturday, October 2, 2010 for anyone interested in attending the LitQuake book festival author readings that are planned for that day. According to the LitQuake schedule on its web site, admission to the event (at a theater just outside the Montgomery BART station in San Francisco) is free.

I would also like to have us attend dinner at a nearby restaurant after the event. If you are interested in coming to dinner after the book event, I would like to know which of the following restaurants I found on a map you'd like to dine at:

Just as you may be deciding what to eat, here's a little bonus. Given the special nature of the LitQuake book event, dinner will be on me. You may recall that the club has received $150 in sponsorship money as part of the promotion for the book Delivering Happiness by Tony Hsieh. I will go ahead and use these funds for this purpose. Consider it a gift from the Organizer. :-)

Once the details of this meetup are finalized, I will post the official announcement.

Thank you. :-)

Anthony Lee
Organizer, East Bay Book Club

P.S. The sponsorship money was actually supposed to be $100. However, a few lucky Organizers, including myself, received an extra $50 by accident. A member of the staff has acknowledged this error but, as a kind gesture, will not ask that the extra be returned. Instead, she suggested that the lucky Organizers do something special with it. :-D
