What we’re about

The East Bay Developers is a group dedicated to hosting programming meetups sponsored by VSCO, and co-hosted by other like-minded individuals and organizations. Our goal is to bring together bright minds to discuss a wide range of software engineering topics to foster learning, and inspire and provoke conversations that matter. We will host speakers and panels to create conversation around topics such as scaling infrastructure, cross platform mobile development, Infrastructure automation, performance engineering, big data and analytics, QA automation and many other topics that we believe software engineers are interested in tackling, and we'll host them in Downtown Oakland.

About our Sponsor:

VSCO is a creative channel. We build creative tools, spaces and connections driven by self-expression. Our Mission is to help everybody fall in love with their own creativity.

Code of Conduct:

We truly believe civil discussion and disagreement are healthy, and we encourage them. Our ask is simple: Keep conversations and comments targeted at the topic, rather than at other group members and their identities. While attending our events, please respect individuals’ spaces, whether you know them or not. We have zero tolerance for hateful messages or actions from our members while on the East Bay Developers Meetup page or attending our events. It’s up to all of us to promote an inclusive and welcoming community.

We look forward to continuing to foster an accepting, open and respectful forum on our page and at our events. If you notice any posts or actions that you feel are outside of this code of conduct, please report it to one of our organizers listed on our Meetup page.
