Night Hike at First Landing State Park

It may be muddy, so please wear shoes that can get muddy!!!

Monday night hike!!! Meet at the Trail Center at 6:30 PM, hike will start at 6:45 PM.
A park ranger will guide our group on a night hike through 2-3 miles of the park trails. They will help us identify various animal sounds heard at night (types of frogs, owls, etc). The QUIETER we are, the more night sounds we will HEAR!!! During the hike we will focus on using our NIGHT VISION to see, you can bring a flashlight if you want, but we are going to try keeping them OFF as much as possible!! The night hike will last about 1 hour and 45 minutes. There will be a 50 cent to $1.00 fee per person that will be given to the park ranger to cover the cost of our private night tour. The exact amount will depend on how many people show up at the event. Please bring $1.00 cash!!! We will meet at the Trail Center. This is to the right off of 60 (Shore Drive) if your heading to the beach. Please meet at 6:30 PM so our hike can start at 6:45 PM (you need to be on time, we will be hard to find in the dark if your late)!!! Email me if you have questions! This is limited to adults and very quiet, well behaved kids. There is NO parking fee for this event.
