There was a Groupon for 50% off admission but you missed it. So if you are not a member admission is $18 and for non-members admission to butterflies is $3.50.
We will enter the garden around 9:30am because free docent led tours are offered starting at 10am.
After the tour we will explore other areas of the garden on our own, then if interested we can go to a local restaurant for lunch. There are a few places nearby, including the garden's own (but very expensive) Gertrude's restaurant.
Please either bring 1 liter of water or plan to buy bottled water at the Desert Botanical Garden. They have water machines at several places around the garden, sell water near the main entrance, and have water fountains. Remember the sunscreen and your camera!
The estimated end time includes lunch. If you don't plan to do lunch expect 3 hours.
