This group is geared towards 25-49.9 year old singles in and around the East Valley who enjoy an active lifestyle and socializing with other singles who share similar outdoor interests. We are now a private group and you will need to be approved by an organizer to become a member.
Some examples of events hosted by this meetup include:
hiking
mountain biking
5K runs / walks
day hikes / sightseeing trips
camping
kayaking
breakfast/lunch/dinner
happy hours
road bike rides
laser tag
volleyball
fitness oriented events in the Scottsdale green belt
The organizers of this group appreciate when members change their RSVPs if they can not attend an event for which they have scheduled. The Meetup standard is 50% turnout and we tend to have closer to 90% because we seem to attract more thoughtful members! :0) Of course a few times so many members have changed their RSVPs that we have to cancel the event. But I would rather do that than go and wait for half an hour for nobody.
Please note, after 9 months of inactivity members are removed from the group. This is not personal, we just like (unlike many other groups) to have active members instead of membership numbers inflated by inactive people. If your situation changes you are welcome to join again if we remove you as a member due to inactivity.
