  • This location is shown only to members

This group is for writers who have a work or works in progress. Fiction of all genres, nonfiction, poetry, and essays are all welcome. There is a limit of 2000 words max. Please bring copies to share with members so they can read along.

We start promptly at 1:00pm and will go from 2-3 hours depending on attendance. If you need to leave early, please let me know, and I will do my best to accommodate you. Other than that, writers will get to read on a first come, first serve basis.

We are now capping the attendance at 10 members per meeting, so please RSVP. If you RSVP and are not able to attend, please change your RSVP as soon as possible so another writer can fill your spot.

Happy Writing!

Dan T.

Note from Geoff - I added a waiting list, so if you are number 11, you'll get an email if someone changes their RSVP.

I am so committed to sharing with other writers. I need that so much now that I am retired and want to interact with other creative minds. As a ghost writer, I just participated in publishing a work on the internet based on the cultural experiences of a student I taught who was a member of the Tuareg nomadic tribe of the Sahara and who shared the contrast of the two experiences of being a student here in the States with his experience as a nomadic camel herder in Niger. I want now to continue writing the memoir I have been begun on my own life as a "motherless child." Looking forward to being with other writers on Sunday.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
