Thank you for asking this question.  I have the same issue. Stash only allows backups to be deleted from the site they were created from.  It makes sense, until the site is gone of course.

I presume that if we contact iThemes support they will remove those backups for us, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I do really like Stash by the way.  Seeing all my client backups together is very handy.
