Site administrative link/sidebar

I have a site that may eventually be moved from .org to .com. I am mentioning this, because I am trying not to reinvent the wheel, as quite a bit is already there. Normally, I would see a sidebar, which would enable me to sign in and modify the site. It's no longer there. Any ideas regarding how to get it back?

Thanks.

You can always log into your site by going to http://yoursitedomain...

If WordPress is installed in the root directory, you can leave out the /wpfolder/.

Moving from .org to .com is likely to be much harder than the other way around.

I think I've tried that. It's something to be looked at on Friday. I've always said, that my purpose in life is to serve as a warning to others. Thanks.
