Just got back from another invigorating get together at Campesino's Mexican Grill in Strawsburg and one of the topics that arose was how some people view open mindedness, or the term "Free Thinker" thinking that it means accepting anything as plausible. But that is a misinformed understanding of what open mindedness is. Being open minded is actually being willing to consider new ideas yet still utilize rational thinking and evidence to determine if those new ideas are plausible and then having the capability to adjust what you think or believe when information is presented that contradicts what you previously thought or believed.
