I am a rider.
All of my bikes have been Suzukis, so when I became unable to trust my feet to tasks such as gear and brake functions, I turned to a 400 Burgman. It was such a great feeling to be riding again after years of no bike at all. After my first year, 6,000 miles later, I traded to a[masked] Executive last June, and have about 10,000 miles on that one now. Yes, I do get out once in a while. For comfort and fun I have added Kuryakyn grips with the helmet hanger and throttle rocker add-ons, a top box, a gel seat (a must for my uhh...long rides), some fringes and bit of fun, general Bling items.
I started riding with a dirt bike when I was about 14. My first Suzuki was at 18. My next was after the Navy. I was about 20. You know the rest.
I also belong to Penn Jersey Scooter Mob and the Maryland Stray Cats Scooter and Cycle Touring Group. Super people.
Hmm...Let's see... I guess I could. Let's go riding!
I have lived in Delaware most of my life. I am a veteran of the U. S. Navy, and I am proud to be an American. I love the lower Delaware life experience. I find most scooter riders to be easy going, fun loving folks who enjoy riding.
We are excited that we can bring this group into our area. This is overdue on our eastern shores. We have such incredible treasures to explore and share with others who visit here every year. Do you have areas near you that you want to show us? Any suggestions? Watch for new meetups as soon as we get back from New Holland.
