Speaker: David Julian - “Empowering Your Photographs with Adobe Lightroom”

As photographers, we love to shoot new images. How can we empower our best shots to covey that great energy we feel when we are out shooting?

Seattle-based photographer and educator David Julian will present some of his favorite techniques and workflows that help photographers take their images to the next level. It’s part deliberate workflow, and part intuitive experimentation.

If you are already familiar with Lightroom, you may bring your laptop loaded with Adobe Lightroom, and an extension cord.   If not, sit back, enjoy and get inspired. There will be ample time for Q+A. This will be a informative condensed version of a full workshop series Dave will offer in Seattle over the next few seasons.

BIO:  Photographer and educator David Julian loves teaching creatives how to turn their passions into portfolios.

Dave creates images for clients, collectors and educators worldwide.  In 2001 he was
invited to teach at the prestigious Santa Fe Workshops, where he discovered his
facility for teaching.  Since then, he has taught Photography, Photoshop and
Lightroom at some of the nation’s top facilities and destinations as well as at
sea and on land in Alaska, Hawaii, British Columbia, Costa  Rica and Mexico.
He is also adjunct faculty at University of Washington and the Art

perfectly, giving students confidence, inspiration and the knowledge they need
to succeed artistically in personal or professional pursuits. Dave’s website and blog are at: http://davidjulian.com

I really enjoyed this meetup although sadly, I didn't win the software! David did a good job of covering a lot of info in a short time and I hope he'll come back again.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
