Hey Foodies!!! I'm baaaaaack! After taking a bit of a hiatus due to work commitments, I'm back with a vengeance - okay, maybe not so much...I'm back with a small grudge. No, actually, I'm thrilled to be back because I missed taking my gang to some great new places in my 'hood.
We'll be starting off the year with an end-of-the week dinner of gourmet tacos at Diablo - a self-described "urban taco fabricator."
It's a cool place with awesome owners, a kick-ass chef and the sweetest servers ever. My last dinner there with a friend included maple fried chicken tacos, pork belly rice and beans, a hot dog smothered with bison chili and ghost peppers (so yummy), the best churros outside of Sr. Churro in San Jose, Costa Rica, and a michelada to die for - a huge beer with a spice-rimmed glass and a tabasco/tomato popsicle that floats in your glass!
This is not your Taco Bell taco - don't expect to pay 79 cents - nor is it your La Estrella Taco Truck taco - this is nouveau taceau!
Join me for a fun group dinner to start off 2013!
