Gaming at Coffee Phix!

I have found us a new coffee shop at which to play games every second Wednesday of the month! (Possibly more often if I can find other hosts, some people have already offered - thanx, and after discussing it with Jackie.)

Jackie Larkins has been the manager of this cafe since about March 2013, and she's been wanting to have a gaming group here for quite some time. She is a lovely person and will likely be joining us at the tables!!! :D

This is going to be a slightly lighter, more laid back version of gaming with group games, co-operative games, creating teams to double up on the fun with 4-player games, and those sorts of things... just generally being sociable and silly. Hopefully,  some from "deep within the heights / on the eastside" peeps will venture out for an evening of gameplay. :)

There are totally "ab fab" "hoity toity" drinks and a lovely menu of healthy foods for all - please click Coffee PHIX for more details.

Looking forward to seeing you there! Jenn

That was a great night of fun and silliness... wish that Simon and Jason had stayed later ;'( Played games in larger group today - always fun! Tonight saw the return of Elizabeth! Thank you for hosting the Scrabble game :)

Commentaries within posts of particular meet ups are meant to support the meetup not draw people away from it for another, opposing, event. This is not an appropriate format for this announcement. We're also trying to increase business for Jackie on these 2nd and 4th Weds. Also, many of those of us in the 4 gaming meet ups are CMA Members and are fully aware of the WoW gig. Hopefully, your choice of advert does not poorly impact this event.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
