Zomething Different! It's our party, and we'll bowl if we want to... ;)

Neither the location nor the time has changed. We start at 6pm and bowl n' stuff til 8pm.

Here's the deal... I've reserved lanes 1-4 under my name (Jennifer Howard) for two hours. The cost per person is $9.50 which will get each of us two games and shoes.

Freeway Lanes had only 4 lanes available for us to use which means that we will have 5-6 people on each lane, but we should be able to get in 2 games at a comfortable pace. We will have lanes 1-4 which are directly across from the food bar.

Please note that food and drinks are extra (not included in the $9.50). There will be "runners" available to place and pick-up our food and drink orders. Food is your more typical bar-type fare like burgers, hot dogs, sandwhices, pizza, salads, fries, wings, etc... Alcoholic beverages are available.

The menu and prices are available for viewing online.  http://www.freewaylanes.com/wickliffe/OpenBowling.html

Although we do have the option to increase to a third hour to bowl a third game, I doubt this would happen as it would have to be unanimous as well as take the price up to $14.50 per person. Please note that food and drinks are extra, not included in the $9.50 or $14.50 prices.

Freeway Lanes of Wickliffe is conveniently located! Take 90 to the Euclid Rd Exit - drive half a mile east to the first light - turn down the hill and go all the way to the bottom.

There are a couple of tables at the end of the alley which could be used for one or two games, I suppose. ;) There are also pool tables, Bocce ball lanes, and a game room.

We're going to have a great time, and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there! ;) Jenn

I had a super-fun time! I bowled two games, and I think that my average was 100 =O) This is _most_ unusual for me... 'course it did help that I was in a lane with "bumper" rails... So no gutter balls - yay!

Hey, I know I've been out of the mix for quite a bit. If, hypothetically speaking, we had our own shoes, what would the price be?

    1 · November 27, 2012

    • Rob

The same; but you'd have a choice between your shoes and the disgusting house shoes.

The way lane reservation works is this: $30 per lane per hour. I reserved 4 lanes for 2 hours for a total contract price of $240. The per person price for this event is based on simple math: 240 ÷ 25 = 9.50. I put down a $40 deposit. The total amount of the contract is due in full by the end of the event.

Would be best to check whether they have Rock 'n' Bowl or some similar activity on Sat. evenings. That would be a deal-killer for me, as it would be (1) considerably more expensive and (2) deafening.

That's good to know. I note, however, that even on Saturday Kids' Birthday Party Afternoon, the music gets cranked to the point that you sometimes can't hear the pins.
