Welcome to our weekly playgroup!

When it's warm outside Panera is a freezer inside - so please come equipped with a sweater!!! It'll make you feel Better!!!

We are a fun group of people who enjoy getting together to act foolish, make jokes, talk trash, laugh, and play games. Because of the spontaneous nature of our group, we usually show up not knowing what we're going to play. Some days we end up playing just "our faves". The truth is that we'll play any game if someone brings it and convinces us we want to learn how to play it. It's not about what types of games we play, it's that we play games.

We have games starting at various times until 8 with people arriving at various intervals as well. (We are usually able to stay until 9:30 to finish games.)  There really isn't any reason that you can't get into a game no matter when you arrive.

We play American and European games including: Network-building games, Card-based games, Bluffing games, Turn-based Resources games, Board games, Party games, Trivia games, Fantasy card games, Path-making games, Word games, Q&A games, Cooperative games, and Pure Strategy games.  We've played over 160 different games since August 2009!

Click here to see a list of all the games we've played.

I spent my evening playing games with notDave, Michael, and PetePatrick ;) We started out with Winners Circle - by my request of Michael, thank you! We then played two games of 7 Wonders with the Leaders Expansion - that was an interesting twist... and I even got "the green strategy" to work _for me_ (once) this time - which was.. suuuue-wheeet!

I'm not sure about joining a Power Grid game as my mind is likely to be fairly fried after work today. I'm also unable to offer rides home due to stuff going on at home, may need to leave right after Panera (again).

What is it? Everyone seems so excited for it.

It's a long game (2.5 hours) with an interesting strategy to it. You get a benefit by being behind so it's not just a first person runs away with the game. Although that can happen too, I guess.

I plan on coming tonight. Just need a ride back to the Cleveland Heights area.

My brother lives there so I'll probably be driving him home. I'm not sure what time though!

I have a new Power Grid Board! Québec/Baden-Württemberg! I want to start a game at 6. Jamiee and Mike told me they were in and Rick was interested too. Anyone else and are those people still in?

great, so we will have at least 1 game of power grid going, and the only thing better than 1 game of power grid is 2 games of power grid

I would lean toward two concurrent games vs. one huge one; we won't be as rushed that way. I'd be delighted to play either a new map or an old map. I only ask that I may deploy the MegaChips.

Nic- I will still play, unless the fact that I've been voiceless and sick since Sunday makes you want me to not. :)

Four new games will be in my collection... Railways Of Mexico, Railways Of The Eastern U.S., Railways Through Time, and Seasons. The later is a big-time megachip game; it's a lot better to use those than the victory point track... but anyway, any interest in any of these?

I'm a big fan of Railways games, and I am always happy to play. Seasons is best as just a two player game.

Interesting--usually we've used point tracks when available (as in TtR). But I wouldn't turn down an excuse to deploy the MegaChips!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
