Welcome to our weekly playgroup!

We are a fun group of people who enjoy getting together to act foolish, make jokes, talk trash, laugh, and play games. Because of the spontaneous nature of our group, we usually show up not knowing what we're going to play. Some days we end up playing just "our faves". The truth is that we'll play any game if someone brings it and convinces us we want to learn how to play it. It's not about what types of games we play, it's that we play games.

We have games starting at various times with people arriving at various intervals as well. (We are usually able to stay until 9:30 to finish games.)  There really isn't any reason that you can't get into a game no matter when you arrive.

Click here to see a list of all the games we've played.

T'was a bit of a clamer-ish evening of gameplay. We went directly to Denny's from Panera and got settled pretty quickley there. I played two Ticket to Ride games this evening. The first was Nordic Countries with Pete. The second was India with Scott Z. Then I played No Thanks with a small group. I also did my usual parusing and schmoozing ;)

I would like to make a standing offer for either Union Pacific or Power Grid, valid for the foreseeable future. My merely showing up may be taken as an invitation to play either.

(n.b. This is not to say that these are my favorite games. Actually, I've rated both a mere 8 on BoardGameGeek. However, they are the games that have the greatest ratio of desire to play to opportunity to play.)

If I'm fast enough, I'm going to present a prototype that Jaimee will be REQUIRED to play. :) The reasons will become obvious when I explain it. ;)

It will be optional for everybody else, but this game will pander to the casual crowd.

We haven't participated in the 1910 Father Christmas Tour as of yet this December! Then again, it hasn't snowed, so I guess it's with good reason. Wha wha? "What the heck is the 1910 Father Christmas Tour", you ask? It's what's on the back of the tickets in TTR: Nordic Countries! :)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
