Make Runes!

Bring your wood or stones and we'll spend the afternoon making our own rune sets. I'll help you purify and prepare your materials and walk you through the meanings of each. Also please bring paints and/or carving tools if you have them.

Please note: We will meet at the cafe and then move to the big room at Rein's (in the ground floor of the apartments across the street, just follow the building around the corner a fraction of a block until you see large windows looking into a big room with a pool table and probably a gathering of pagans painting stones at the table). Also note that we have the room until 11pm, but you do not by any means have to stay that late! However, at least a few of us will probably stay that long, so feel free to join us late if you can't make it at 3pm.

Here's a link to the site I mentioned:
http://www.tarahill.com/runes/runemean.html If you scroll down, you'll find three little image buttons which will take you to the meanings for each of the runes in that grouping. Don't worry about knowing all the meanings yet, as I will bring my notes and go over each rune while we're making them, but it will give you a chance to get familiar with the runes ahead of time if you like, see what I'm basing my interpretations on, and know how many stones/tiles/whatever you need to bring to make your runes.
