Celebrate Beltane

  • April 26, 2013 · 5:00 PM
  • The Great Room at Rein's

Since Beltane falls in the middle of the week, we'll hold our group celebration a little early. Like past Sabbats, this will be potluck style. We'll discuss what we want to nourish and encourage in our lives right now as well as ways to observe this sacred day. We'll see if we can't do something subtly ritualistic as well, since so many of you have mentioned an interest in that.

Also, we'll discuss a possible field trip. Depending on everyone's availability and the weather forecast, we could go to near by Edward State Park on or near the 1st, to hike their trails and commune with nature.

To help give you ideas on what foods to bring, and to get you primed for the day, check out these links:

I need to talk to my husband first to see if he wants to attend with me. If he does, would anyone mind if I brought all 3 kids?

    • Q

I don't think any of us would mind having the kids around :)

I forgot we switched weekends with Melanie because of spring break. So, Kris and Sandy will not be here. Elise will probably come with me, and I am still waiting on an answer from Alex. He is on his sprig break form school so there is no homework to get in the way.

I can go if someone can pick me up from work at 430 in Seattle... Otherwise, I can take the bus, but I'd need a ride home.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
