Welcome to the Eastside Separation of Church & State Meetup Group, sponsored by the Greater Seattle Chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State. The purpose of this group is to provide a venue where people supporting the separation of church and state can meet and discuss this topic as well as others that interest them, or just socialize. As president of the Greater Seattle Chapter, I hope that people who do not belong to our organization might consider joining, but this is not a requirement.
We welcome people of all faiths or no faith, as well as people of any political persuasion, so long as they support the Establishment and Free Exercise clauses of the First Amendment. Because our group is nonsectarian and nonpartisan, I encourage attendees to be sensitive about discussions that might be disparaging to any belief system, or that would promote one political party over another.
We will be meeting each month on the first Tuesday. We hope you can join us!

President, Americans United Greater Seattle Chapter
If you are an enthusiastic supporter of the First Amendment, we invite you to join us for a discussion of Church-State issues as well as any other relevant topics. We'll be meeting at the Family Pancake House in Redmond. Please ask for the "Eastside Church-State Meetup."

“ This is where you will meet other like-minded "separationists
" and broaden your understanding of separation issues. And it's a lot of fun, and good folks. ”
