Live Your Dream: Start an Animal Sanctuary

This meet up is for animal lovers who share my dream of founding an animal sanctuary for farm and companion animals and people who are going through a time of transition and grief in their lives. Having worked with rescued animals as a volunteer and staff member for different animal rescue organizations and as a humane educator teaching empathy and compassion to children and teenagers in local schools I have always been amazed about the depth of the bond that can develop between people and animals when we care and treat each other with kindness and compassion.

Tired of just dreaming I believe that with a group of dedicated people from different backgrounds and areas of expertise we could make this dream come true. Those of you who are familiar with the story of Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah, one of the largest animal sanctuaries in the States, know, that Best Friends started out with a small group of people who had a dream. We could do the same. Let’s talk and make it happen.
